SPRING WOODSWALK SHOOT

March 16th: This is a shoot for all muzzleloaders. It requires 10 – 15 shots at steel targets. It may also require hawk, knife and fire start so please plan accordingly. Depending on the weather, this shoot may be changed the morning of to the range. A potluck style lunch will be offered, and food donations are expected.

ROOK AND RABBIT SHOOT

April 13th: Range open at 9:00am. This is a small caliber marksmen class event. 22s, 32-20s, 22 Hornets ect. Single shots and iron sights are preferred. There is a separate class available to bolt action rifles. Take aim at crows, rabbits and wood chucks at 25 and 50 yards. Kitchen will be open to purchase lunch.

MUZZLELOADER HAM SHOOT

May 18th: Range open at 9:00am. This shoot is for muzzle loading rifles. There will be yardage targets from 25, 50 and 100 yards with re-entry targets at all distances. Prizes are frozen Hams. Kitchen will be open to purchase lunch. MILITARY CAST BULLET SHOOT

June 1st: Range open at 9:00am. Participants need a full military issued rifle; No sniper rifles allowed. Iron sites but they must be the originally issued sites. All rounds must be a cast bullet load. This is a 20-shot match at 50 and 100 yards; both standing and at rest. Kitchen will be closed, please bring a lunch.

LEVER ACTION RIFLE SHOOT

June 15th : Rules are simple; any center fire lever action firing a cast or jacketed bullet, using smokeless or black powder with iron sights are allowed. 15 shots at bowling pins and bowling balls. 25, 50 and 100 yards. You may re-enter as many times as you would like. Range opens at appox 9:00am. Kitchen will be open to purchase lunch.

TRADE GUN AND BLACK POWDER PISTOL SHOOT

July 20th: Range open at 9:00am. This is a shoot for all smoothbores. True smoothbores and smooth rifles. There will be yardage targets to complete an aggregate as well as a novelty portion requiring shots at clay birds. Regular rifles are welcome and will be able to participate with a separate aggregate. The kitchen will be open to purchase lunch.

46th ANNUAL RENDEZVOUS & RIFLE FROLIC –AUGUST 15,16,17th.

Separate Primitive and Modern Campsites

Free wood and water. NO electricity.

Open for camping at NOON on the 15th. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED for either campers or the public!

Camping fee $25.00 per camp.

Shooting Registration is $7.00 per person.

Matches: Rifles—Pistols—Trade Guns—Black Powder Cartridge—Woods Walks and Aggregates for Men, Ladies and Juniors—Primitive Archery Woods Walk.

Primitive clothing is not required to attend or compete at our rendezvous. Open to the Public. Food sales available.

OPEN WOODSWALK / MOUNTAIN MAN OF THE YEAR WOODSWALK

September 21 st: Will follow the March woodswalk format. Blanket shoot, Kitchen will be open

MUZZLELOADER TURKEY SHOOT

October 19th: Range opens at 9:30am. See format for HAM SHOOT. Prizes will be frozen turkeys. Kitchen will be open to purchase lunch.

22nd ANNUAL BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE MATCH AND SCHUETZENFEST

November 16th: Single shot, center fire rifles with black powder cartridge and cast bullets are required for this event. No duplex loads. Paper aggregate match and a marksmanship challenge at hand painted targets at 50 and 100 yards. Potluck style chili will be served, and food donations are expected.
